Save Some Money This Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is just a few weeks away! You can save a ton of money by purchasing that gift for your lady online. I know that for me since I do so much of my shopping online I am always looking for online shopping coupons. Between affiliate links and coupon codes I can really save a bundle whenever I am doing any shopping online.

I know if I could I would buy my lady a huge rock for Valentine's day. I will honestly though stick to something a bit smaller and more reasonably priced. I also love to get my daughter a Valentine's day present. It always makes her feel special, which of course she is. Those are pretty much it for people I get Valentine's presents for. Well, I do get my son a little something so he doesn't feel left out.

Two of my favorite online retailers when I am looking for a gift for my girlfriend are Blue Nile and Jewelry Web. They both have great selections and prices on jewelry and other gifts for that special someone. So before you spend way more money that you should and all that time driving and shopping sit down at your computer relax a bit and shop online. You have to hurry though to make sure whatever it is that you order makes it here before Valentine's Day.

Are We Too Connected?

I have asked myself, and others, this question many times. It all started with the answering machine. Then we had emails, mobile phones, and now mobile phones with emails. We now have Twitter, & ppl posting constantly about their lives. It isn't that I don't see how it could benefit this blog, but simply put, quite a bit of the time I don't give a da-- that you are sitting in Starbucks reading a book. Unless of course there is some benefit to me from that information, such as you are a friend I'm meeting for coffee. Also, I really don't figure you give a da-- that I am sitting somewhere either. I understand Twitter goes beyond that, but you get the point. I use twitter, and yes I've posted that I was sitting in a Starbucks. So we have people running around with their iPhones and Crackberries worried they are missing emails, phone calls, and text messages. They are doing this while listening to music and Twittering away.
