This Is What A Cman Looks Like, Or At Least This One

I have been meaning to put up a picture for the longest time and for various reasons just never got too it. I probably share an issue with quite a few people out there that aren't real crazy about pictures of themselves. I don't mind people taking pictures I just don't go out of my way to appear in them. One reason, or excuse you could say, that it took so long is that I really didn't have a ton of pictures in digital format that were "good." Finally after some prodding I decided to just take a snapshot with the webcam and throw it up here. So last night that is what I did. Here is the result. Not much but it is a picture and it is up for all to see.

Aren't you all just so excited that you know what I look like? Funny thing is that I actually did send a picture to a fellow blogger months ago, but that person was gracious enough to not post it. It was a pretty poor picture by design actually, and a full body shot so you couldn't really see much of my face due to the small size. So there is one fellow blogger out there that sorta knew what I looked like for quite a while. You know who you are. Now all of you get a picture. Does this feel as anticlimactic to you as it does to me?

Are We Too Connected?

I have asked myself, and others, this question many times. It all started with the answering machine. Then we had emails, mobile phones, and now mobile phones with emails. We now have Twitter, & ppl posting constantly about their lives. It isn't that I don't see how it could benefit this blog, but simply put, quite a bit of the time I don't give a da-- that you are sitting in Starbucks reading a book. Unless of course there is some benefit to me from that information, such as you are a friend I'm meeting for coffee. Also, I really don't figure you give a da-- that I am sitting somewhere either. I understand Twitter goes beyond that, but you get the point. I use twitter, and yes I've posted that I was sitting in a Starbucks. So we have people running around with their iPhones and Crackberries worried they are missing emails, phone calls, and text messages. They are doing this while listening to music and Twittering away.
