Free Classified Advertising - A Great Affiliate Marketing Tool

Classified Advertising, in my opinion, is a great tool for an affiliate marketer. I make on average about $150 a month from a single ad on one particular classified ad site. I don't do anything other than post the ad and watch the money come in.

There is a new Free Classified Ads site called Webcosmo that I recently came across. It isn't as large as some but it has good Alexa numbers and gets traffic from a broad range of sources and locations. They have a large number of categories to choose from so targeting your ad is pretty easy. I haven't posted about how I use classifieds for making money but I have been working on an article on the topic so stay tuned. It is one of many that are still in draft. Now let me tell you a bit more about WebCosmo.

Are We Too Connected?

I have asked myself, and others, this question many times. It all started with the answering machine. Then we had emails, mobile phones, and now mobile phones with emails. We now have Twitter, & ppl posting constantly about their lives. It isn't that I don't see how it could benefit this blog, but simply put, quite a bit of the time I don't give a da-- that you are sitting in Starbucks reading a book. Unless of course there is some benefit to me from that information, such as you are a friend I'm meeting for coffee. Also, I really don't figure you give a da-- that I am sitting somewhere either. I understand Twitter goes beyond that, but you get the point. I use twitter, and yes I've posted that I was sitting in a Starbucks. So we have people running around with their iPhones and Crackberries worried they are missing emails, phone calls, and text messages. They are doing this while listening to music and Twittering away.
