I really have no idea what that means. I am back though and ready to get back in the blogging swing of things. So if you were wondering why the posting had slowed down here is why. I was on a brief excursion through the lush concrete jungles of the 3rd largest metro area in the US. Fondly known as the "windy city." That would be Chicago folks. Well now that I have returned I feel that it is once again time for me to begin making plans to leave again. I love travelling and certainly love vacations. I try and get away as much as possible. It really isn't as expensive as you might think. I can pick up tickets to many great places in the Caribean for around $150 round trip. The travel dates aren't the most flexible and usually you only have a few days to make a decision and purchase them, but you can't beat the prices.
I know I have a lot of readers from Australia and I would love to visit that country. I was actually checking on prices for a flight to Australia and found that they weren't as bad as what I was thinking they would be. I would also like to swing over to New Zealand while in the area. That trip is probably one I will be trying to take in the near future.
This summer I am going to be doing a 2 week "volunteer vacation" in Costa Rica. I will be working with kids and doing athletic camps. My days will be filled with lots of work and other activities but most nights and all weekends will be free. The whole package including air and meals and everything is only $600! Now granted I am doing volunteer work and I'm not staying at the Ritz, but I get to see a place I have never seen, help kids in need, and experience a culture in a way a regular vacation would never allow.
You need a break. Get away from "it" for a while. With a little research, an open mind, and some flexibility you can travel for much less than what you think. Remember that you can take advantage of currency exchange rates and more to make a vacation less expensive. Quit making excuses and start doing. You only live once and you might as well live your dreams - no excues.
later all and have a profitable and productive blogging day
