October Contest - $50 Trick-Or-Treat

It has been a long time since I ran a contest hasn't it? Well just last week I purchased an incredible Halloween costume and so I decided to run a contest that involved it. The contest will be simple and you don't have to be right to win! The contest has two parts and here are the "rules."

Rules:

1. Subscribe to my feed and post a comment with your guess, and feel free to mention what you will or might be for Halloween. It is that simple. You are entered in the contest. If you decide to also post an article mentioning the contest and linking back to this contest post and you get 5 extra entries. It is that simple...each person can get up to 6 entries in the contest.

2. I will also be awarding a bonus prize to the correct guess. In the event that there are multiple correct guesses the person with the most entries wins. If there is still a tie then the person that commented first will win.

3. Contest ends on Friday October 31, 2008 at 4:00 PM Central Daylight Savings Time.

Prizes:

1. The prize for the winning entry will be a Totally Bricked iPhone! JUST KIDDING...

Actually the prize is $35 cash

2. The prize for the correct guess will $15 cash

Not really a prize but I will be posting a "winner" post and will include backlinks to all entries!

The Stripping Aristologist Contest Winner

Well as you can see from the above screen capture the winning entry is #5. Heading over to the contest post and looking through the comments and the trackbacks I found that Anton of Link Right Contests was entry #5 with his guess of Julia Child. The actual answer was incorrect so he won the $50 but not the bonus prize. I was a bit generous to 2 entries that commented and entered but did not give the link. I had to search their blog to find the answer. There were several that commented and gave a link to their blog but I could not find a post about the contest or any links back to this blog. Anywho....Congrats to Anton and thank you all so much for reading and taking the time to interact with this blog and really make it what it is.
