Deal Locker - A Coupon & Discount Blog - My Review

As many of you know I love to save money. I also love to make money too but that is for another article :). In fact just this afternoon I saved 30% on Chicago Bulls tickets using a coupon code. Well anyway, stumbling around the Internet the other day I came across a niche blog called Deal Locker. Deal Locker is a deals and coupon blog. The blog has a very nice clean looking template and is a wordpress blog. The blog has a ton of posts in categories that range from clothing and shoes to travel and everything in between. If you are looking for a coupon or discount code they probably have one for the product or the site you are looking for.

One nice feature on the blog is the add coupon feature. This allows the readers to submit new coupons or discount codes and helps keep things new and fresh. Trust me it is quite annoying when you are searching for a code and all the codes you find are expired. Another nice feature is the site search option. I did a search for printable, and was returned results for stores they had coupons for that were related to printing. I also was given results that were "printable" coupons. This was a very nice way to present the result. There are also related items in the sidebar as well.

The site seems to be a sort of social network for sharing online coupons and discounts for hundreds of different stores and sites. I really like the fact that coupons are rated by users so the more of you that visit and use the coupons and codes the better it becomes for everyone. This blog is packed with deals, free stuff, printable coupons, store give aways, freebies and deals that aren't just for online shopping.

My overall impression, as one who uses coupon codes often, is favorable and it is certainly a site that I will use again and again to find discounts, coupon codes, and online deals. Well there you have it - Deal Locker "because friends help friends get deals."

later all and have a profitable and productive blogging day

Wow! What a great site. I used the printable CVS coupon in th blog and saved $4 off my $20 purchase, and I got a good coupon for old navy in the coupon database. Now I know what to do with all the Victoria Secret coupon codes I get in my email. Spread the word and we all win :)

I checked out Deal Locker and it's well put together, but I've been using roseyshop.com and I always find great deals and usually on the home page so I don't have to browse from page to page.

What the F Does the C Stand 4

I know all of you have been waiting with baited breathe for my first contest. Well we are taking the plunge together. Here is the chance for all of you to win something for doing almost nothing. Hopefully you won't think this Contest is full of Sh-t . For many many years I have had the "nickname," I guess you could call it, of Cman. Here lately, probably due in part to #10 in my 10 Reasons John Chow Probably Thinks This Blog Is About Him article, I have been getting asked more and more what the C in Cman stands for. Herein lays the focus of this contest. For the person who can guess what the C in Cman stands for I will give them $100. If multiple people guess correctly the winner will be chosen by random drawing from among the correct entries. If no one guesses correctly I will randomly pick from all entries and will award the winner of the losers $20. Clarification: 1. In the words of Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez, "There can be only One." Winner that is. E...

Are We Too Connected?

I have asked myself, and others, this question many times. It all started with the answering machine. Then we had emails, mobile phones, and now mobile phones with emails. We now have Twitter, & ppl posting constantly about their lives. It isn't that I don't see how it could benefit this blog, but simply put, quite a bit of the time I don't give a da-- that you are sitting in Starbucks reading a book. Unless of course there is some benefit to me from that information, such as you are a friend I'm meeting for coffee. Also, I really don't figure you give a da-- that I am sitting somewhere either. I understand Twitter goes beyond that, but you get the point. I use twitter, and yes I've posted that I was sitting in a Starbucks. So we have people running around with their iPhones and Crackberries worried they are missing emails, phone calls, and text messages. They are doing this while listening to music and Twittering away. With all of the social networking a...
