$1500 January Update -

In case you missed it I have set a goal for this blog to earn $1500 in January. When I set this goal it was on January 15th and I had earned a total of $606.33 so far for the month. I am determined to meet this goal and I wanted to keep everyone updated as to my progress. With just a little over 1 week left in the month I am getting close.

I will only give totals through yesterday as I am not done earning yet today! The totals will be through the end of the day Wednesday, January 23.

Here is where the earnings stand for the month.

Affiliate Sales: $647.26
Paid Posting: $303.07
Contextual Ads: $48.81
Ad/Link Sales: $10.00
Misc: $6.13

Total MTD: $1015.27

That is an average of a little over $44 per day so far this month. If I maintained that rate I would fall just a bit short of my goal. Counting today the 24th there are 8 days left in the month. I will need to average just a touch over $60 per day to reach my goal. I have lagged a bit on daily income since my last update but hopefully I can make a big push this week and hit my goal.

The Stripping Aristologist Contest Winner

Well as you can see from the above screen capture the winning entry is #5. Heading over to the contest post and looking through the comments and the trackbacks I found that Anton of Link Right Contests was entry #5 with his guess of Julia Child. The actual answer was incorrect so he won the $50 but not the bonus prize. I was a bit generous to 2 entries that commented and entered but did not give the link. I had to search their blog to find the answer. There were several that commented and gave a link to their blog but I could not find a post about the contest or any links back to this blog.
